  1. I learned a lot about the science behind baseball. Some things were the importance on atmospheric conditions and winds when trying for a fastball, or the momentum needed to trust the ball from a pitchers hand. With the science behind baseball kept in mind, your baseball skills can get so much better.

  2. Baseball. One of my worst sports (2nd only to football.) I still limed thjs article. I honestly wonder how those batters react so fast. If you blink you miss! They have this game to see your reaction time and no matter how much i tried, i missed. Also they have less than a SECOND to react. Phew.

  3. Wow. I didn't know there was that much science behind baseball. I always sort of thought it was just whacking a ball.

  4. the player has to have lightning fast reflects just to make contact then they need to try to make that contact realy good and that would be a hoime run or to the next base with nonoe stopoing you. Brian Johnson formerly a catcher describes this a a hitter has to be aware of wind and atmospheric conditions to get the most out of a hit "Sometimes the wind might be blowing somewhat in towards the plate in left field, and slightly out of the park in right. In that case you might take advantage by trying to hit the ball towards right."
